Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson DBE, DL is a former Paralympian wheelchair racer who competed in five Paralympic Games between 1992 and 2004, winning multiple world records and medals. She has held a number of senior leadership roles, including Chair of ukactive and non-executive positions with the BBC, Transport for London, the London Legacy Development Corporation, Sport England and Sport Wales.
She is currently Chair of Sport Wales and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and sits as a Crossbench Peer in the House of Lords, where she contributes to debates on accessibility, welfare reform and sport.
